We went camping in Ho’okena with Nube. Camping with pets is not allowed but she was too much of a kitten to leave her alone at home and… I needed to be around her…We camped in a tent and she was so amazing! She slept with us all night without giving any trouble or making any noise….
On our way back, we drove through South point. It is hard to believe this island have such different landscapes, different climates and energies! What a delight!
This time we decided to drive up and see a little bit of Mauna Loa. I love the spontaneity of Daniel, I love being in nature and capturing it with camera. It is a blessing having a partner who is so understanding in regards to my needs of being with Nube on these hard times, he is my angel, full of patience, full of service full of love. In gratitude I walk.

Mauna Kea visit w/ C*, Josep & Cristina
Josep and Cristina are staying with us for a month. They are visiting from Spain. We wanted to share the views of Mauna Kea with them so we decided to rent a 4WD together and go visit the sacred mountain. After all it’s so much more affordable for all that way.!
I invited my next door neighbor and friend C* – and – she invited Molly, her next door neighbor and friend.
My plan was to go around 11am so that we can all go for a walk to the Lake but then Robert Kent convinced me that if I left at 2:30pm, I’ll have plenty of time. So… we did it that way and …guess what? it was not enough time! I was a bit disappointed and I think everybody else had some sort of disappointment as well…
We only had time to grab something at the Food store and go directly to the Summit just right on time for sunset!
It was magnificent but having to organize and pay so much all together and not be able to do what we wanted to do was definitely frustrating!
It was what it was. I have to remember that I’m not the only one creating this experience …. so I let go, surrender and enjoy … All is well
