We had a different idea of how camping was going to be. Campgrounds are not free and most of them are not open because of the season… we are entering winter. We could camp for free along Hwy 1 but it is hard to do having no bathrooms… so we ended up doing what I’ve done before while traveling… Thank God for Walmart! We parked at their parking lot around 7pm, amongst other campers. Curtains down, brush our teeth and went to sleep. Nice to have a bathroom near by. It felt safe and we had a nice sleep.
MONTEREY BAY AQUARIUM
Amazing creatures of the ocean
Amazed of the Creator’s creativity, we couldn’t stop saying “wowwwwww”
can you see him?

Our favorite friend, the ever changing – so connected OCTOPUS
SALT WATER SUNFISH
The Aquarium was so huge and there was so many people, we had to take a break. It was a lot of stimulation. We relaxed at the Aquarium restaurant, had some beer, ate some really yummy food and enjoyed the view for a while.

At night time we walked around little towns, seeing art galleries and “christmas stores” and did silly things and even went to the movie theater to watch “Gravity” in 3D!
This trip has been refreshing and inspiring. It has been nurturing to this third presence of ours. We feel strong and IN LOVE. Amen! Hallelujah! Ashe! Aho! 🙂
POINT LOBOS RESERVE
Sweet little spot to stop and enjoy. Beautiful costal waters, seals, wood peckers birds, jumpy scary squirrels, a short yoga practice, breathing amazing fresh air, an invigorating hike, healing all around in nature. We had breakfast here and watched the birds come closer for some food.
San Luis Obispo – Big Sur & much more
SAND DOLLAR BEACH
This was probably one of the highlights of the trip for me. This beach was magical, solitary…and the sunset was magnificent. Spirit was present all around and it felt soooo good.
Night time at a campground. $24 for the night, no real bathrooms.
We warm up some soup, talk story and snuggle up to wake up to an amazing view of the coast.
We stopped at a gallery in Cambria that was really beautiful. Lots of really beautiful art. Some time ago, when I started painting, I bought a book about an artist that was really inspiring. Her art was at this gallery! It was so nice to see… The inspiring women she made out of some sort of clay were there and Daniel got me one. 🙂
We had a really good lunch in San Luis Obispo. A vegetarian organic cafe called “Bliss Cafe”. We ate outside with beautiful weather in their beautiful garden.
Grey city, lots of traffic … but there is one thing we came here for, Agape Spiritual Center. Michael Beckwith with its powerful voice from Spirit, we are here to experience you! .. and the amazing Cafe Gratitude!
After 5 days on the road, we were ready for a real shower… so we got a free pass online for a Gym. We got there and they asked us a few questions… we were a little nervous since our story was that we just have moved in to LA and wanted to try this Gym. They asked that our ID’s would be from LA .. but they were not, of course. I said we just have moved in and we have not gone to the Driver’s license office yet.
It was hilarious. We felt like we were robbing a bank! Ha! They wanted to give us a tour of the gym but we had only 1/2 an hour to get ready for the Agape service and we needed to take that needed shower. It was 6:25 so I rapidly saw there was a class that was starting at 6:30pm … I told the guy ” I rather have the tour later, we’d like to join the class in 5 min and we need to change our clothes”. He agreed … Phew!
We got in that bathroom, took a nice shower and got all fresh. Half an hour later, we were ready. We texted each other. I was nervous. “How am I going to get our of here, through the main door, through those guys that registered us, without looking all fresh and before the class finished”? . Daniel went out first. – He texted me “clear”. Go ahead, no big deal. … so I did.
We got in that car and got to Agape right on time.
Such a sweet time! What a blessing! The chorus was magnificent and the service so marvelous, as always. It was nice being there, live. An unforgettable experience.
