Today we drove to Vegas from LA and I started to feel a little under the weather. We got some double shots of Noni at Cafe Gratitude, paid a visit to the laundromat and hit the road.
On the way, the beautiful Mojave Desert.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
We got into Vegas around 7pm. We returned the van and called a taxi to take us to the hotel. The line to check in was huge! We waited for about 30 min until we took the elevator to our hotel room, our home for the next 3 nights.
The Funny sign at our door
We had such a good time here in Vegas. Cirque du Soleil “Love” and “One” (Michael Jackson show) were both amazing and inspiring. Such dedication these people have! Seamless, glorious representation of what the human Spirit can achieve with their bodies!
We are re-inventing ourselves with this trip, finding more openness, more adventure, more acceptance than ever…
and yes, my nose is bleeding and I don’t enjoy all the second hand smoking I breathe when walking in and out of the hotel through the casinos… but the fun we had here?? the fun we had here, overrode any of that stuff!
Paris Hotel, Venetian Hotel and Bellagio with its light show.

We flew to Colorado early morning on November 17th. 3 days of Vegas was plenty! and fun… ! Now..What?
We arrived in Denver, rented a really tiny car (since we are really not going to be driving all that much), did some grocery shopping for the week at Whole Foods and drove 3 hrs to Carbondale. There, Daniel’s teacher was waiting for us.
We stayed at their cozy house. Daniel did some creative work. I did some creative work. We got to enjoy the down time, the snow! and each other.

One of my new favorite artists ” Lisabeth Sterling” using glass as the amazing canvas… uncovering, carving, gorgeousness!
First time touching “fresh” snow!!! Oh my gosh! I never imagined it to be so fluffy and joyful! and Daniel caught the spontaneous moment!
So grateful for the snow!!! It is soooo beautiful!

November 22nd, 2013
Our flight was leaving Denver at 7am so we left Carbondale the day before. There were warnings of a Snow Storm so we wanted to make sure we were going to make it.
Our friends that once lived in Hawaii, Elesha, Safron and Sage welcomed us into their home in Denver that night. We had dinner with them and then went to sleep in their living room. It was so nice to see them and get to experience the delightful Saffron and Sage once again! 🙂
That night was a really cold. We were freezing all night. Couldn’t even sleep all that well, it was so cold! getting up at 4:30am was hard.. It was 6 degrees! Chilled in my bones… and excited for the next stage of our journey…
Thank you guys!! I love you! Your beauty is inspiring. Your vulnerability is heart warming. Your generosity so lovely…
