Road trip with the girls!!! 🙂
We picked them up in Ashland. The plan was to take a few days traveling North to Seattle where we were to meet Daniel’s parents. We charged up with snacks at the Co-op and started the journey.
We had a vision on driving up to Eugene through the main route and stopping at some Hot Springs yet there were some intense fires in the forest and we had to deviate.
We took our time and stopped at some lake and tune in with each other and nature. Super sweet. Then we passed by Crater Lake (total surprise – not in the plans) – yet amazing!!!
Roses in the dashboard – a gift from Malia & Sophia.
The deepest blue water I’ve ever seen.
The 2 braided sweethearts
On the way to Umpqua Hot Springs
The place was ok.. I would definitely not go back yet we made the best of it. There were some strange people, the pools were small, it was kind of dangerous going from one pool to the other.. (glass on the path, slippery, etc) .. but again, we made the best of it. Definitely an experience with the girls.
So much silliness and FUN
The AIRBNB Boat in Eugene
The girls had no idea of the accommodations I have reserved for us: A BOAT! We got there really late at night and the girls were confused yet so excited. We had bought some pizza to go at the “Pizza Research Institute” ;p . We got to the boat, unpacked, took a shower, ate some delicious pizza and slept so deep.. The next morning we played games, laugh, and enjoy the adventure so much. It was cloudy though and the lake wasn’t the cleanest so we didn’t take the boat out ..
Sophia’s cute face — right after she hit her head hard …LOL!
In the Portland Mall – Shopping, getting manicures and pedicures, buying make up.. all girly stuff
SEATTLE – Chihuly’s Garden & Glass
We got to Seattle… super exhausted. Rented a Big Basement through AIRBNB with 3 big beds. The first night it was only us and the girls. Next day we picked up Daniel’s parents and the adventure really begun full on! 😛
